U-Haul of British Columbia , along with affiliated dealers throughout the province, are coming together to form a Foundation to assist needy families within local communities in B.C.
Donate your time as a volunteer at this year's event-maybe organize an event like a bottle drive?
Just come by and enjoy the event on May 10th 2008!
The purpose of this Foundation is to raise funds that families with health issues or medical difficulties, or those experiencing problems due to accidents, fires, and the like can apply to for assistance during their difficult time. Each year dealers across the province will be participating by hosting special events at their locations everything from games and barbecues to raffles and silent auctions and much more.
These will be yearly functions hosted by more and more dealers each year, with the First Annual U-Haul Smiles for Miles Day held April 14th, 2007

Buy a Smile for Miles Pin for $2
Donate items for the on-line auction or prizes for the day of the event.
All donations will be recognized on the website for the following year.
Or buy a “donation doll” that includes your picture or company logo to be sent to a child in need of your support. See info attached with regards to the dolls and be quick cause they're going fast!!!
