U-Haul of British Columbia , along with affiliated dealers throughout the province, have come together to form a Foundation to assist needy families within local communities in B.C.
Donate your time as a volunteer at next year's event-maybe organize an event like a bottle drive?
Come by and enjoy our 4th annual event in May of 2010 in Askews Parking Lot for lots of fun stuff to see and do. On May 23rd 2009, we hosted a BBQ, a silent auction, face painting, a bounce and play for the kids and much much more! Final totals for the 2009 event have not yet been completed but we are confident it was as big a success as previous years.
The purpose of this Foundation is to raise funds that families with health issues or medical difficulties, or those experiencing problems due to accidents, fires, and the like can apply to for assistance during their difficult time. Each year dealers across the province will be participating by hosting special events at their locations everything from games and barbecues to raffles and silent auctions and much more.
